We really hope to have an in-person Machol Europa in 2022! We will look at streaming possibilities for those who cannot travel to the UK. We will build on our success during the pandemic to try to give everyone the best possible in person and on-line experience.

Our new venue is the University of Surrey in Guildford  which is south of London just off the M25. It is only about 35 minutes by taxi from Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

You can now book on-line for both full and part-time attendance HERE. There is a special discount for those who book prior to 31 January 2022. Please note that the course will happen in-person subject to any Covid restrictions. If we are forced to cancel the in-person event, the £50 deposits will be subject to a £10 retention by the University but the balance will be returnable together with any other amounts paid.

We are aware that Sunday 7th August is Tisha B'av. That is why we will not start our pre-Machol Europa opening Harkada until 9.30pm that night. The full course will start on Monday morning.

In 2022, we intend to hold a belated 80th birthday party for our special guest Moshe Telem when he will be 81!

Single en-suite rooms available

Our programme will give the opportunity to review classic dances, learn the latest hits and indulge those who love line dances. There will be a mix of material so relative newcomers are able to participate.

The deposit, once paid is non-refundable except if there are Covid restrictions. The balance of fees when paid may in exceptional circumstances be refundable on presentation of a medical certificate or other such document, less any administrative fees incurred by IDI. However, a decision just to cancel for no apparent reason will not result in a refund.

Part-time attendance is possible. You can come to any sessions, book any meals and even stay for just one night. However, discounted prices will not apply.

The Institute is committed to encouraging young people to become involved with Israeli dance both from the UK and overseas, especially from communities where there is little opportunity to find sponsors locally. If you feel able to assist by making a financial contribution, we would be very grateful.

If you register AFTER 1 July 2022, the price will rise by £35.

Please note that on a comparative basis in relation to length and content of the programme, Machol Europa provides the best value for money at a lower price. We only seek to cover costs, NOT make a profit.
