IDI's main annual events are our Children's Dance Festival for KS2 children held in March in London and Manchester each year and our Early Years events for KS1 in June. Parents who wish to come to these events should see booking information below.

INFORMATION FOR TEACHERS

Our programme for 2023-24 is ISRAEL 76. Those who wish to obtain this programme should contact the IDI office. 

The KS2  Dance Festival will be held on  Tuesday 19th March 2024 in London, and in Manchester on 20th March. The KS1 Festival has been changed for 2024 in line with 2023 to 10 days of "in-school Festivals" starting at the end of June. If your school has not yet registered for a visit,please contact us on info@idi.org.uk or call 07980 451912.

Our programme for "Dances for the Jewish Year", while targeted at younger pupils (Key Stage 1) is suitable for all Primary (Elementary) School use and even for adults. If you wish staff to be trained in its use, please email us to info@idi.org.uk. If you are outside the UK, it may be possible to arrange Zoom training sessions. Educators can register to obtain the dance materials (audio, film, sheet music, dance notation & guidance notes for teaching) by visiting the "Resources for Children" page.  

There will be a special training course for teachers which will be held at the University of Surrey on 4th and 5th August 2024. Please visit the Machol Europa page for details.
